In the 1980s a group of mothers got together to try and edit music. Their first victims were those of rock artists. The mothers claimed that the heavy violence and excessive profanity is a bad influence on the young kids that listen to their music. Twisted Sister and Frank Zappa fought against the group of mothers. Sadly though they lost. Now not only are rock CDs and music videos edited but so are just about every other kind of music CD and or video that has been made. Those mothers are the ones to thank for that parent advisory sticker that is on the cover of your favorite CD. This sticker can be found on just about every CD that is not edited.
The parent advisory sticker can only be found here in America. Which shows how great America really is!
